Several business opportunities do not translate into proper enterprises because entrepreneurs do not succeed in gathering the resources needed to develop his/her intuition or invention.
UniCredit Group, together with the Territorial Committees, and Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria have, therefore, developed the program Talento delle Idee, launched on 18th December, to boost and support the fostering and growth of new business enterprises.
Through a specific competition – whose terms can be accessed through the dowloadable files at the end of this page – original, innovative and value creating business projects will be identified in Italy and receive economic resources together with relevant services from the referring economic players operating at local a level. The FinancIdea® Foundation, belonging to the universe of Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi di Milano, will be involved in the program by supporting in the evaluation phase of the innovative entrepreneurial proposals submitted.
The new young talents (between 18 and 40 years old), eligible to attend the competition according to the criteria listed in the contest’s regulation – downoladable files at the end of the current page – shall submit their innovative business projects not later than 20th February 2010, in electronic format, to the following address: talentodelleidee@unicreditgroup.eu.
Within each of the six local Italian areas identified (Triveneto, Nord Ovest, Emilia Romagna-Toscana, Umbria-Marche-Lazio, Abruzzo-Molise-Basilicata-Puglia-Campania-Calabria, Sardegna-Sicilia), the three best business proposals will be selected and awarded.
The latters will be granted tailored financing, according to the Group credit policies, and a Master/Training program, of a high standard.
The 18 winners at local levels, moreover, will be candidates for the national cash awards granted to the three best projects on a national basis, and will have access to a set of selected potential investors.
National awards will be granted during one of the General Meetings of Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria planned in 2010 (Santa Margherita Ligure, GE, in June 2010, and Capri, NA, in October 2010).
